Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Anna Althea Hills achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Los Angeles in December 2020. In the California and Western Art Online auction, the work Seal Point sold for USD 3,825.00 (€ 3,127.56) - well above the upper estimate of USD 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anna Althea Hills achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Spell of the Sea (Near Moss Point) in November this year with an auction result of USD 229,100.00 (€ 210,029.34).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Anna Althea Hills erzielte im Dezember 2020 bei Bonhams in Los Angeles einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion California and Western Art Online wurde die Arbeit Seal Point für USD 3.825,00 (€ 3.127,56) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Anna Althea Hills erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Spell of the Sea (Near Moss Point) im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 229.100,00 (€ 210.029,34).
