Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Near the Hermit's Lodge - Palm Springs 10 x 7 in. framed 17 x 14 in. by Anna Althea Hills was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in December last year. The price achieved of USD 3,187.50 (€ 2,979.53) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anna Althea Hills achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Spell of the Sea (Near Moss Point) in November this year with an auction result of USD 229,100.00 (€ 210,029.34).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Near the Hermit's Lodge - Palm Springs 10 x 7 in. framed 17 x 14 in. von Anna Althea Hills kam im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.187,50 (€ 2.979,53) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Anna Althea Hills erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Spell of the Sea (Near Moss Point) im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 229.100,00 (€ 210.029,34).
