Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Anna Althea Hills could be acquired at Bonhams in Los Angeles in November 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the California Art auction, the work Harbored boats on a stormy day changed hands for USD 2,805.00 (€ 2,485.16) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anna Althea Hills achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Spell of the Sea (Near Moss Point) in November this year with an auction result of USD 229,100.00 (€ 210,029.34).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Anna Althea Hills konnte im November 2021 bei Bonhams in Los Angeles für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion California Art wechselte die Arbeit Harbored boats on a stormy day für USD 2.805,00 (€ 2.485,16) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Anna Althea Hills erzielen.
