In the CALIFORNIA, WESTERN AND AMERICAN PAINTINGS auction, the work Peasant With Faggots changed hands for USD 1,314.50 (€ 991.40) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anna Althea Hills achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Spell of the Sea (Near Moss Point) in November this year with an auction result of USD 229,100.00 (€ 210,029.34).
