Auction result misses estimated price range
When this work without title by Ann Edholm was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in May 2014, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 30,000.00 – 35,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 28,000.00 (€ 3,068.91). Admittedly, works by Ann Edholm have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "At The Back Of Silence I" in May 2016 with an auction result of SEK 200,000.00 (€ 21,535.70).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Ann Edholm im Mai 2014 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 30.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 28.000,00 (€ 3.068,91) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ann Edholm auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "At The Back Of Silence I" im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 200.000,00 (€ 21.535,70).
