Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled (6) by Anish Kapoor was auctioned at Bonhams in London in October this year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 1,800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 2,048.00 (€ 1,937.93). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anish Kapoor achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in July 2008 with an auction result of GBP 1,945,250.00 (€ 2,471,462.02).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled (6) von Anish Kapoor kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 1.800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 2.048,00 (€ 1.937,93) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Anish Kapoor erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Juli 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.945.250,00 (€ 2.471.462,02).
