Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,134.79) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Admittedly, works by Angus McBean have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Audrey Hepburn, 1951 in September 2019 with an auction result of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 18,336.20).
