Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Sans titre by Angelina Beloff was auctioned at Christies in Paris in June 2004, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 18,000.00 – 22,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 14,340.00. Admittedly, works by Angelina Beloff have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Nature Morte À La Bombonne in May 2016 with an auction result of USD 137,500.00 (€ 123,484.51).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Sans titre von Angelina Beloff im Juni 2004 bei Christies in Paris versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 18.000,00 – 22.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 14.340,00 den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Angelina Beloff auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Nature Morte À La Bombonne im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 137.500,00 (€ 123.484,51).
