Auction result misses estimated price range
In May this year a collector was able to acquire the work Girl Standing with Broken Umbrella by Ángel Botello for USD 28,050.00 (€ 26,328.14). This price was achieved in the auction Impressionist & Modern Art at Bonhams and was even below the estimate range of USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ángel Botello achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Niña durmiendo in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 397,000.00 (€ 270,288.67).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Girl Standing with Broken Umbrella von Ángel Botello für USD 28.050,00 (€ 26.328,14) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art bei Bonhams erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ángel Botello erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Niña durmiendo im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 397.000,00 (€ 270.288,67).
