Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Haitian Girl by Ángel Botello was auctioned at Christies in New York in October this year. It changed hands for a price of USD 17,640.00 (€ 16,691.90) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ángel Botello achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Niña durmiendo in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 397,000.00 (€ 270,288.67).

Die Arbeit Haitian Girl von Ángel Botello kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 17.640,00 (€ 16.691,90) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ángel Botello erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Niña durmiendo im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 397.000,00 (€ 270.288,67).
