Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Girl with Umbrellas by Ángel Botello was auctioned at Christies in New York in March this year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 40,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 44,100.00 (€ 40,562.91). Admittedly, works by Ángel Botello have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Niña durmiendo in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 397,000.00 (€ 270,288.67).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Girl with Umbrellas von Ángel Botello kam im März diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 40.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 44.100,00 (€ 40.562,91) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ángel Botello auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Niña durmiendo im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 397.000,00 (€ 270.288,67).
