The work Daisy by Andy Warhol was sold in the Contemporary Curated auction at Sothebys in London in March 2016. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 38,750.00 (€ 48,925.70), 29% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Andy Warhol achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Shot Sage Blue Marilyn in May last year with an auction result of USD 195,040,000.00 (€ 181,753,797.41).

Die Arbeit Daisy von Andy Warhol wurde im März 2016 in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 38.750,00 (€ 48.925,70) und damit 29% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Andy Warhol erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Shot Sage Blue Marilyn im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 195.040.000,00 (€ 181.753.797,41).
