The work Ice (1, 2, 3 And 4) by Andy Goldsworthy was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2015. It achieved a price of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 11,033.36), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 35%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Andy Goldsworthy - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work (i) British Museum (Stonework) (ii) Stonework, which sold at auction in February 2005 for GBP 28,800.00 (€ 41,763.69).

Die Arbeit Ice (1, 2, 3 And 4) von Andy Goldsworthy kam im Dezember 2015 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 11.033,36) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 35%. Für andere Arbeiten von Andy Goldsworthy mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit (i) British Museum (Stonework) (ii) Stonework beobachtet, die im Februar 2005 für GBP 28.800,00 (€ 41.763,69) versteigert wurde.
