Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2004 Christies in New York held the auction Old Master and 19th Century Drawings, which included the work An extensive landscape with herdsmen by a stream by Andries Vermeulen. The price achieved of USD 1,792.50 (€ 1,439.53) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Andries Vermeulen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Winter Landscape With Skaters On A Frozen Canal in December 2008 with an auction result of GBP 23,750.00 (€ 24,944.41).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2004 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Old Master and 19th Century Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit An extensive landscape with herdsmen by a stream von Andries Vermeulen zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.792,50 (€ 1.439,53) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Andries Vermeulen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Winter Landscape With Skaters On A Frozen Canal im Dezember 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 23.750,00 (€ 24.944,41).
