Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Masters Day Sale, which included the work Winter Landscape With Figures Skating On A River Before A Wooden Bridge And A Windmill by Andries Vermeulen. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,602.80). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Andries Vermeulen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Winter Landscape With Skaters On A Frozen Canal, which sold at auction in December 2008 for GBP 23,750.00 (€ 24,944.41).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Masters Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Winter Landscape With Figures Skating On A River Before A Wooden Bridge And A Windmill von Andries Vermeulen zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 8.125,00 (€ 9.602,80) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Andries Vermeulen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Winter Landscape With Skaters On A Frozen Canal beobachtet, die im Dezember 2008 für GBP 23.750,00 (€ 24.944,41) versteigert wurde.
