Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Three Peasants at the Table, with a Harlot (B., Holl. 9) by Andries Both was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2011. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 875.00 (€ 1,004.19) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Andries Both achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Adoration Of The Shepherds in July 2001 with an auction result of GBP 14,100.00 (€ 22,960.83).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Three Peasants at the Table, with a Harlot (B., Holl. 9) von Andries Both kam im Juli 2011 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 875,00 (€ 1.004,19) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Andries Both erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Adoration Of The Shepherds im Juli 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 14.100,00 (€ 22.960,83).
