Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2013 a collector was able to acquire the work Two In Power Two, From The Chapters Series by Andrei Filippov for GBP 9,375.00 (€ 10,942.30). This price was achieved in the auction Russian Paintings at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Andrei Filippov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Three Candles, From The Auspicies Series, which sold at auction in November 2013 for GBP 30,000.00 (€ 36,100.98).
