Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2008 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Contemporary Sale, which included the work Part Ii. Chapter I (From The Series Table Of Contents) by Andrei Filippov. The price achieved of GBP 13,700.00 (€ 17,210.60) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Andrei Filippov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Three Candles, From The Auspicies Series, which sold at auction in November 2013 for GBP 30,000.00 (€ 36,100.98).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2008 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Contemporary Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Part Ii. Chapter I (From The Series Table Of Contents) von Andrei Filippov zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 13.700,00 (€ 17.210,60) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Andrei Filippov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Three Candles, From The Auspicies Series beobachtet, die im November 2013 für GBP 30.000,00 (€ 36.100,98) versteigert wurde.
