Sold at the lower estimate price
In April 2008 Sothebys in New York held the auction Russian Art, which included the work Russian "Krugi V Glazakh" From The Series Idiomatic Expressions, 2006 by Andrei Filippov. The result of USD 15,000.00 (€ 9,635.15) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Andrei Filippov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Three Candles, From The Auspicies Series, which sold at auction in November 2013 for GBP 30,000.00 (€ 36,100.98).
