Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Andreas Gursky could be acquired at Christies in London in July last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online auction, the work Untitled 'XX' Litograph, 2016 changed hands for GBP 1,260.00 (€ 1,504.66) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Andreas Gursky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 99 Cent Ii, Diptych in February 2007 with an auction result of GBP 1,700,000.00 (€ 2,520,188.96).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Andreas Gursky konnte im Juli letzten Jahres bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online wechselte die Arbeit Untitled 'XX' Litograph, 2016 für GBP 1.260,00 (€ 1.504,66) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Andreas Gursky erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 99 Cent Ii, Diptych im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.700.000,00 (€ 2.520.188,96).
