This artwork by Thomas Bayrle achieved an unexpectedly high price at VAN HAM in September 2015. In the ACHENBACH Art Auction XXL auction, the work "Galaxy Windscreen Wiper" sold for EUR 20,825.00 - well above the estimate of EUR 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Bayrle achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tassenfrau (Milchkaffee) (Cup Woman (Milk Coffee)) in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 237,500.00 (€ 275,482.97).
Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Thomas Bayrle erzielte im September 2015 bei VAN HAM einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion ACHENBACH Art Auction XXL wurde die Arbeit "Galaxy Windscreen Wiper" für EUR 20.825,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem Schätzpreis von EUR 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Thomas Bayrle erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tassenfrau (Milchkaffee) (Cup Woman (Milk Coffee)) im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 237.500,00 (€ 275.482,97).
