The work Trees by Andreas Feininger was auctioned at Bonhams in December last year. It achieved a price of USD 3,825.00 (€ 3,575.43), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 28%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Andreas Feininger achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Photojournalist (Dennis Stock, Magnum Photographer) in April 2001 with an auction result of USD 41,125.00 (€ 46,343.25).

Die Arbeit Trees von Andreas Feininger kam im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 3.825,00 (€ 3.575,43) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 28%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Andreas Feininger erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Photojournalist (Dennis Stock, Magnum Photographer) im April 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 41.125,00 (€ 46.343,25).
