Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Virgin and Child with a Bishop by Andrea Andreani was sold in the Old Master Prints auction at Christies in London in July 2020. The price achieved of GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,394.28) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Andrea Andreani have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Allegory of Death in January 2019 with an auction result of USD 9,375.00 (€ 8,184.91).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Virgin and Child with a Bishop von Andrea Andreani wurde im Juli 2020 in der Auktion Old Master Prints bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.394,28) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Andrea Andreani auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Allegory of Death im Januar 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 9.375,00 (€ 8.184,91).
