A top price for Andrea Andreani - as previously expected
The work Allegory of Death by Andrea Andreani was sold in the Old Master Prints auction at Christies in New York in January 2019. It changed hands for a price of USD 9,375.00 (€ 8,184.91) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Allegory of Death is the most expensive artwork by Andrea Andreani that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Allegory of Death von Andrea Andreani wurde im Januar 2019 in der Auktion Old Master Prints bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 9.375,00 (€ 8.184,91) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 7.000,00 – 10.000,00.
