This work of art by Andrea Andreani could be acquired at Il Ponte in October 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Old Master Drawings and Engravings auction, the work Triumph of Julius Caesar, after Mantegna changed hands for EUR 200.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 240.00 – 260.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Andrea Andreani achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Allegory of Death in January 2019 with an auction result of USD 9,375.00 (€ 8,184.91).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Andrea Andreani konnte im Oktober 2018 bei Il Ponte für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Old Master Drawings and Engravings wechselte die Arbeit Triumph of Julius Caesar, after Mantegna für EUR 200,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 240,00 – 260,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Andrea Andreani erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Allegory of Death im Januar 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 9.375,00 (€ 8.184,91).
