Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2011 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Modern Art, which included the work La Mare Herbeuse, 1911 by André Jolly. The price achieved of EUR 3,698.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by André Jolly - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Le Village Ensoleillé, which sold at auction in October 2008 for USD 16,250.00 (€ 12,813.44).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2011 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Mare Herbeuse, 1911 von André Jolly zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.698,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von André Jolly mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Le Village Ensoleillé beobachtet, die im Oktober 2008 für USD 16.250,00 (€ 12.813,44) versteigert wurde.
