Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2008 Sothebys in New York held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art including Latin American and Russian Art, which included the work Brittany Coast by André Jolly. It changed hands for a price of USD 6,875.00 (€ 5,421.07) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by André Jolly - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Le Village Ensoleillé, which sold at auction in October 2008 for USD 16,250.00 (€ 12,813.44).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2008 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art including Latin American and Russian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Brittany Coast von André Jolly zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 6.875,00 (€ 5.421,07) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von André Jolly mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Le Village Ensoleillé beobachtet, die im Oktober 2008 für USD 16.250,00 (€ 12.813,44) versteigert wurde.
