Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by André Édouard Marty achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Paris in March 2021. In the Collection Pierre Le-Tan, Session II auction, the work Intérieur aux deux chaises sold for EUR 2,016.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by André Édouard Marty - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Arcadian Spring, which sold at auction in July 2019 for GBP 5,312.00 (€ 5,832.22).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von André Édouard Marty erzielte im März 2021 bei Sothebys in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Collection Pierre Le-Tan, Session II wurde die Arbeit Intérieur aux deux chaises für EUR 2.016,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 800,00. Für andere Arbeiten von André Édouard Marty mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Arcadian Spring beobachtet, die im Juli 2019 für GBP 5.312,00 (€ 5.832,22) versteigert wurde.
