Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Boat Race by André Édouard Marty was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2012. The price achieved of GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,554.16) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by André Édouard Marty - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Arcadian Spring, which sold at auction in July 2019 for GBP 5,312.00 (€ 5,832.22).
