Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work As We Dance Around by André Édouard Marty was sold in the Posters With A Purpose: The London Transport Museum Sale auction at Christies in London in October 2012. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,625.00 (€ 2,020.40). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by André Édouard Marty - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Arcadian Spring, which sold at auction in July 2019 for GBP 5,312.00 (€ 5,832.22).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit As We Dance Around von André Édouard Marty wurde im Oktober 2012 in der Auktion Posters With A Purpose: The London Transport Museum Sale bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.625,00 (€ 2.020,40) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von André Édouard Marty mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Arcadian Spring beobachtet, die im Juli 2019 für GBP 5.312,00 (€ 5.832,22) versteigert wurde.
