Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2015 Sothebys in New York held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art, which included the work La Trahison De Judas by André Bauchant. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 22,500.00 (€ 20,465.71) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by André Bauchant have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2011 the work Festival Du Village was auctioned for USD 53,125.00 (€ 36,953.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2015 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Trahison De Judas von André Bauchant zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 20.465,71) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von André Bauchant konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2011 die Arbeit Festival Du Village für USD 53.125,00 (€ 36.953,95) versteigert.
