The price achieved of USD 2,250.00 (€ 2,017.03) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,800.00 – 2,500.00. Admittedly, works by Anatoly Brusilovsky have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Russian Monuments In The Desert, 1962 in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 28,000.00 (€ 17,985.61).
