Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Heart of the Party, Stilts and Babylon (three works) by Anatoly Brusilovsky. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,800.00 – 2,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,890.00 (€ 2,111.30) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Anatoly Brusilovsky have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Russian Monuments In The Desert, 1962 in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 28,000.00 (€ 17,985.61).
