Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Icarian Games And Birth Of A Goddess (Two Works) by Anatoly Brusilovsky. The price achieved of GBP 1,750.00 (€ 1,927.32) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Anatoly Brusilovsky have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Russian Monuments In The Desert, 1962 in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 28,000.00 (€ 17,985.61).
