The work Selected Images from Sandwomen, Miami by Ana Mendieta was auctioned at Phillips in London in October 2019. It achieved a price of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,599.28), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ana Mendieta achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (From the Fetish Series) in February 2008 with an auction result of GBP 102,500.00 (€ 134,065.98).

Die Arbeit Selected Images from Sandwomen, Miami von Ana Mendieta kam im Oktober 2019 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.599,28) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ana Mendieta erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (From the Fetish Series) im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 102.500,00 (€ 134.065,98).
