Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2018 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work A Lady Study by An Ho. The price achieved of HKD 11,800.00 (€ 1,245.09) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 8,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by An Ho achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Horse Polo in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 750,000.00 (€ 82,546.36).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2018 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Lady Study von An Ho zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 11.800,00 (€ 1.245,09) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 8.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von An Ho erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Horse Polo im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 750.000,00 (€ 82.546,36).
