Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Luo River Godness by An Ho was sold in the Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 8,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 9,440.00 (€ 996.07) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by An Ho achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Horse Polo in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 750,000.00 (€ 82,546.36).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Luo River Godness von An Ho wurde im April 2018 in der Auktion Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 8.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 9.440,00 (€ 996,07) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von An Ho erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Horse Polo im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 750.000,00 (€ 82.546,36).
