Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2021 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Willows Gracing the Water by An Ho. The price achieved of HKD 35,280.00 (€ 3,924.41) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by An Ho achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Horse Polo in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 750,000.00 (€ 82,546.36).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2021 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Willows Gracing the Water von An Ho zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 35.280,00 (€ 3.924,41) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von An Ho erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Horse Polo im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 750.000,00 (€ 82.546,36).
