Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2007 Christies in New York held the auction 19th Century European Art and Orientalist Art, which included the work Presenting his Finest Fabrics by Amedeo Simonetti. It changed hands for a price of USD 18,750.00 (€ 12,959.64) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Other works by Amedeo Simonetti have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2008 the work In the Armory was auctioned for USD 25,000.00 (€ 19,712.98).
