This work of art by Amedeo Simonetti could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in April 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the European Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture auction, the work The Harem'S Cobbler changed hands for USD 12,500.00 (€ 11,410.31) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Other works by Amedeo Simonetti have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in October 2008 by the work In the Armory at USD 25,000.00 (€ 19,712.98).
