Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Paesaggio lacustre by Ambrogio Antonio Alciati was auctioned at Il Ponte in November 2018, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 700.00 – 800.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ambrogio Antonio Alciati achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Italian an Elegant Woman With Her Maltese in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 68,750.00 (€ 57,782.82).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Paesaggio lacustre von Ambrogio Antonio Alciati im November 2018 bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 700,00 – 800,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 600,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ambrogio Antonio Alciati erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Italian an Elegant Woman With Her Maltese im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 68.750,00 (€ 57.782,82).
