Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2019 Christies in New York held the auction Interiors: Fine Art Online, which included the work Les Saisons by Alfons Mucha. It changed hands for a price of USD 18,750.00 (€ 16,591.45) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alfons Mucha achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Girl with a Plate with a Folk Motif in October 2020 with an auction result of USD 325,000.00 (€ 279,041.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2019 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Interiors: Fine Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Les Saisons von Alfons Mucha zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 16.591,45) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alfons Mucha erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Girl with a Plate with a Folk Motif im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 325.000,00 (€ 279.041,81).
