Auction result well in line with expectations
The work La Discussion by Alphonse Birck was sold in the Orientalist Paintings auction at Artcurial in Paris in December 2010. The price achieved of EUR 3,825.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Other works by Alphonse Birck have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2015 the work Discussion Près Du Puit was auctioned for EUR 5,850.00.
