In July 2011 Christies in New York held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Port Clyde by Allen Dean Cochran. The »bidding war« ended at USD 2,000.00 (€ 1,394.89), 67% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Allen Dean Cochran; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Snow On The Forest Floor sold at auction in March 2006 with the realized price of USD 2,160.00 (€ 1,779.39).

Im Juli 2011 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Port Clyde von Allen Dean Cochran zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 2.000,00 (€ 1.394,89) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Allen Dean Cochran; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Snow On The Forest Floor im März 2006 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 2.160,00 (€ 1.779,39).
