Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work The Harbor by Allen Dean Cochran for USD 625.00 (€ 566.53). This price was achieved in the auction Living With Art at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 150,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Allen Dean Cochran - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Snow On The Forest Floor, which sold at auction in March 2006 for USD 2,160.00 (€ 1,779.39).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The Harbor von Allen Dean Cochran für USD 625,00 (€ 566,53) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Living With Art bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 150.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Allen Dean Cochran mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Snow On The Forest Floor beobachtet, die im März 2006 für USD 2.160,00 (€ 1.779,39) versteigert wurde.
