Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December last year Christies held the auction Art contemporain - vente online, which included the work Collection of five drawings by Allan McCollum. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 12,600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Allan McCollum achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Collection of One Hundred and Ninety-two Plaster Surrogates in September this year with an auction result of USD 226,800.00 (€ 214,285.71).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Christies die Auktion Art contemporain - vente online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Collection of five drawings von Allan McCollum zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 12.600,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Allan McCollum erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Collection of One Hundred and Ninety-two Plaster Surrogates im September diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 226.800,00 (€ 214.285,71).
