Admittedly, works by Alison Watt have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sleeper; Fragment Ii in July 2007 with an auction result of GBP 78,000.00 (€ 115,848.01).

Die Arbeit Study for Crown of Thorns von Alison Watt kam im Oktober 2004 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 11.950,00 (€ 17.199,34) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 49%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alison Watt auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sleeper; Fragment Ii im Juli 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 78.000,00 (€ 115.848,01).
