Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2020 Christies in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work Lumière Lumitra, exact expiration date unknown, ca. 1960, processed in 2014 (#8) by Alison Rossiter. It changed hands for a price of USD 11,250.00 (€ 10,016.92) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alison Rossiter - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Eastman Kodak Elite, exact expiration date unknown, ca. 1980s, processed 2016 (#1), 2016, which sold at auction in April 2017 for USD 27,500.00 (€ 25,240.94).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2020 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lumière Lumitra, exact expiration date unknown, ca. 1960, processed in 2014 (#8) von Alison Rossiter zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 11.250,00 (€ 10.016,92) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Alison Rossiter mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Eastman Kodak Elite, exact expiration date unknown, ca. 1980s, processed 2016 (#1), 2016 beobachtet, die im April 2017 für USD 27.500,00 (€ 25.240,94) versteigert wurde.
