In November 2007 Sothebys in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work No Bautizados En El Paisaje by Alirio Palacios. It changed hands for a price of USD 17,500.00 (€ 11,914.49) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Other works by Alirio Palacios have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2016 the work Portraits In Landscape Iii was auctioned for USD 23,750.00 (€ 21,329.14).
