In November 2008 Sothebys in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work Images In Landscape Nº 3 by Alirio Palacios. The price achieved of USD 16,250.00 (€ 12,801.32) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Other works by Alirio Palacios have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2016 the work Portraits In Landscape Iii was auctioned for USD 23,750.00 (€ 21,329.14).
